As always, December was a very busy month for all our Living Water Adopt-A-Child teams round the world. The National offices coping with a significant increase in the volume of cards and letters for sponsored children, and the teams in Guatemala and Albania organising special Christmas meals and presentations, as well as distributing the Christmas gifts to all the children – sponsored and non-sponsored alike.
A heartfelt “thank you” to all those who contributed towards the costs of this and especially to the teams on the ground who made it all happen – you certainly earned your Christmas holiday.
In Albania, we were delighted to be able to partner with Team Hope Ireland again this year to provide a shoebox of gifts for the children, as well as our own Christmas food parcels. Another big “thank you” to all those who helped put these together and distribute them.
In Guatemala, Christmas food baskets were also given to the older folks who attend the programmes under our M25 project/Women in Need. They were thrilled to bits to be receiving a gift just for them.
