Please Continue to Pray for Our Ministry
Thank you to all who have been persisting in prayer on behalf of Living Water Adopt-a-Child (LWAAC).
We are happy to offer this update and praise report about how the Lord is moving in the midst of this situation.
Medical Team
Praise God, all the members of our Guatemala Medical Team were able to board chartered flights and return safely to their homes in the United States.
Guatemala Programs
My wife, Ana, and I plan to remain in Guatemala for the foreseeable future. Although the country has been under Martial Law for the past few days, we are happy to report that all of our staff and sponsored children are safe and virus-free. Any non-essential travel has been restricted from 4 p.m. – 4 a.m. each day and businesses/organizations considered non-essential have been ordered to temporarily close. We are making every effort to provide food and other essential resources to those who are most in need at this time. There are currently 19 reported cases of COVID-19 in Guatemala and 1 death has been reported.
Albania Programs
While our Albania programs are also closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our LWAAC team is braving the snow and mountains to provide food parcels to the villages we serve. We are having to reschedule our LWAAC Regional Conference held in England and will announce the new date as soon as possible. There are currently 123 reported cases of COVID-19 in Albania and 5 deaths have been reported.
Please continue to pray for our ministry. We encourage all of our supporters who aren’t currently connected with us through social media to make sure to do so for our most recent LWAAC updates. Our website blog is also being regularly updated with the latest information concerning our response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
We feel your prayers and are tremendously grateful for your continued support. Together, we are making a Kingdom impact in Guatemala and Albania during these uncertain times.
Advancing the Kingdom,
