Times have always been uncertain. However, the intense uncertainty of the last 18 months has taught us so much about how deeply we need the hand of God to move, protect, bless and intervene. We humbly ask that you join us in prayer for our beloved mission fields: Guatemala and Albania. We’ve provided the following prayer points to help guide you.

How to Pray for Guatemala

This past spring, we reopened eight feeding programs only to have Covid-related restrictions force us to shift our ministry operations from providing hot meals twice weekly to delivering groceries to the families of our sponsored children. The vast majority of Guatemala is on critical Red Alert. Pray for health and healing to prevail, including among our office staff, and that our ministry work would be able to move forward with maximum effectiveness.

Sponsored Children

Sequestered in their homes, many feel forgotten, but our sponsored children are so blessed when our teams visit to bring groceries and deliver letters from their sponsors. Pray a special embrace of God’s love for them and ask that the Lord would bring sponsors for the more than 3,000 children who are waiting for this life-changing gift.

Medical & Dental Clinics

As hospitals prioritize the worst Covid-19 cases, many important medical needs are going untreated. Pray that God would use our medical and dental clinics to their fullest ability and that they would be sources of health and wholeness, both physically and spiritually, for the impoverished communities we are blessed to serve.

How to Pray for Albania

Sponsored Children

We recently launched a new program for the children of Elbasan, Albania. This new program includes Bible classes as well as food packages. Pray that this program will grow in resources and impact, providing life-altering blessings for the children as well as their families and neighborhoods.

M25 Program

Caring for the “least of these” (Matthew 25) by providing for the needs of widows and elderly living in extreme poverty has a strong pull on our hearts. We recently helped fund and construct a “tiny house” for a 75-year-old woman living in unsanitary, barely livable conditions. Pray that the widows and elderly we serve will know and embrace their value as seen through the Father’s eyes.

Our church partners in Albania are seeing the challenges of growth as they experience the fruit of providing evangelism resources and developing ways to keep discipling our sponsored children as they go off to college. Pray that the Lord would encourage and empower our local church pastors to continue building on these efforts to spread the truth of Jesus’ Word to Albania.

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message…” Colossians 4:2-3

We consistently thank the Father for your continued support of this ministry. We couldn’t accomplish our Kingdom work without you!
