So much of what we do involves meeting the physical needs of the “least of these.” By providing meals, medical care and other basic necessities, we build rapport with those we serve, which opens up opportunities to address their spiritual and emotional needs, as well. Our goal is to impact the whole person—mind, body and spirit.

We recently witnessed this type of holistic transformation in the life of a man named Martin. A very special baptism service was held at a swimming pool facility in Escuintla, Guatemala, where 15 children and adults were baptized, including Martin. He shared a powerful testimony about how his life was changed through the ministry of Living Water Adopt A Child (LWAAC).

Martin was virtually blind, and he would feel his way along the walls of the town to get to the church and the feeding program. Because of the generosity of his LWAAC sponsors, he was able to get the medical treatment necessary to restore his sight. Now his spiritual sight has been restored as well. Praise God!

You can help make a difference in the life of someone like Martin through our M25 program. Inspired by Matthew 25, these sponsorships support the elderly, widowed and other vulnerable adults with food, medical help and pastoral care.
