Christmas is quickly approaching and preparations are now well underway to bless those we serve in Albania this holiday season.
Our teams are already busy preparing gifts and church presentations with the young people in the community.
We are thrilled to bring a little bit of Christmas joy to around 1120 children and vulnerable adults this year.
In addition to the Christmas food boxes we provide, this year the children will also receive a gift of school supplies, and the adults will receive a selection of toiletries. We have also applied to Samaritan’s Purse and Team Hope, who supply Christmas gift boxes for children. We are hoping to receive enough of those boxes to give one to each of the children who are registered with us.
The special Christmas services are also a highlight at all of our churches. The young people at each church are enthusiastically rehearsing their Christmas songs and dramas for this year’s performances.
In addition, the churches in Katjel and Kotodesh plan to start serving M25 meals for the community in December. We pray that this new outreach will bless many people.
It truly is an exciting privilege to be able to bless the people we serve with extra help at Christmastime—even if it does mean long hours to get it all done in time. We greatly appreciate all of the additional time and money given by our staff, volunteers, sponsors and supporters this time of year.
There is still time for you to help bring practical Christmas cheer as well as the Good News of the Gospel to those who are in need this season.
Please consider partnering with us through a financial gift this Christmas.
