Mission Field Update from Christiane Nötzoldt
Many greetings from Albania! In recent weeks we hosted several summer camps in our programs. A visiting group from the U.S. did a one-week summer camp at our church in Pogradec, and many children and young people took part.
We continue to visit Upper Mokra for the weekly Bible study meetings, and we were able to give out food parcels in Trebinje. The villagers are very grateful for any extra food they receive. In Homezh, we got to bless someone with much-needed bread that his sponsor had provided.
In Proptisht, young people come to a guitar class. They are now on vacation from school, but they didn’t miss the opportunity to come and practice. Some of them come during the week and practice for themselves.
This month we had also a family from Germany visiting the child they have been sponsoring for many years. They stayed a couple of days to see the program that the child is part of and to visit the family at home. They brought a load of new toothbrushes to be given to kids in the children’s meetings.
I am involved in the ongoing translation work in the Living Water office. I am also leading worship at the ladies meeting in Pogradec.
