As we look back on this past year, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for God’s faithfulness in providing for the needs of those we serve. Through your support and prayers, we have been able to make significant strides in transforming lives across Guatemala, Albania and beyond. Here’s a look at some of the remarkable ways God has used Living Water Adopt-A-Child to make a Kingdom impact this year.
Transforming Lives Through Food Access
Food is a basic necessity, but for many, it’s a struggle to access. This year, through our 11 feeding programs, we served over 6,300 people providing them not just with food, but with hope and the knowledge that they are seen and loved by God.
One of our most exciting milestones is the growth of the Blessing Fields program in Chixocol, Guatemala. Seven years ago, we started this project with nothing but faith. It has now flourished into a thriving operation. Thanks to God’s provision, we now have 13 cows, many turkeys, hundreds of chickens, geese and goats, all on the land adjacent to our program. This project not only supports local families with food but also teaches them sustainable agricultural practices to improve their future.
Building Strong Communities Through Health Care
This year, our Medical and Dental Campaign was one of the most impactful events, with 1,441 patients treated over the course of six days. Many of these individuals had not seen a doctor or dentist in over a year, making this campaign their only chance for care.
One powerful moment during the campaign involved an elderly gentleman who came in nearly deaf. After receiving treatment, he left hearing clearly for the first time in years. We also discovered that a small boy who had behavioral issues was actually profoundly deaf, which led to early intervention and support. These are just a few of the life-changing moments made possible through your support.
We also received a heartfelt testimony from Angel, one of our sponsored children. His mother was ill and needed surgery, but due to their poverty, the family couldn’t afford it. Thanks to the generosity of Angel’s sponsor, funds were raised for the simple but life-saving surgery for his mother. This is just one of many stories of how sponsorship is making a tangible difference in the lives of families.
Spiritual Growth and Discipleship
God is at work in Albania, where the church is growing, especially among the youth. After a wildly successful summer of youth camps last year, our team hosted camps again this year. Through these camps, the churches in Albania have earned the trust of many nominal Muslim families who are now allowing their children to attend church programs. It’s exciting to see how God is opening hearts and transforming lives in this region.
During our medical campaign in Guatemala, evangelism teams spoke with patients while they waited for care and saw 74 people accept Christ. Thi is such a testimony to the power of combining physical care with spiritual healing.
Educational Support and Hope for the Future
Education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty, and we are committed to helping children succeed academically. This year, we provided school supplies and tutoring to help children excel in their studies. Additionally, in Albania, we’ve been offering life-skills training to young people. Pastor Ardit in Kotodesh has been teaching youth essential computer skills like Word and Excel, while Christiane Nötzoldt has been providing guitar lessons.
These skills are vital for the future of these young people, equipping them to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Each of these efforts is another step toward a brighter future for these precious families.
Growth in Chulumal
We are steadily making progress on our feeding program building in Chulumal, Guatemala! The construction of the walls, roof, flooring and kitchen area is nearly complete. We’re now praying for the installation of windows and doors, and we are excited to soon host mission teams on this site. These teams will serve as the hands and feet of Jesus, helping us expand our reach and care for the community.
We also have plans for a dormitory on the property to house mission teams in the future. As the work in Chulumal continues to grow, we are excited about the possibilities God has in store for this community.

Lives have been transformed through food, healthcare, education and spiritual growth in 2024. But we know that there is still so much work to be done.
