After nearly two amazing years of serving with Living Water Adopt-A-Child in Guatemala, Drew and Carrie Gibson have recently transitioned to Albania to continue their work as full-time missionaries. Their dedication to following God’s call and advancing His Kingdom is evident in every step they take!
The Gibsons joined the LWAAC Guatemala team in early 2023 and have made a lasting impact through their work with children, families, and the community. Reflecting on their shared ministry, International Director Steve McDaniel says:
“We met the Gibsons in 1999 at Liberty Church Havelock and have been doing ministry together ever since—Carolina, Guatemala, the UK, Japan and now Albania. Ana and I are excited for this next season of ministry for Drew and Carrie as full-time missionaries in LWAAC Albania. We’ll miss them in Guatemala, but we’re thrilled for what God has planned for them and the ministry in Albania.”
Drew and Carrie left Guatemala with full hearts, grateful for all they’ve experienced. Drew shares:
“…we’re so thankful for every memory we have serving together. We’re excited to be ambassadors for Jesus and LWAAC wherever He sends us!”
While it was bittersweet to say goodbye to Guatemala, the Gibsons are ready to bring hope and love to the people of Albania, continuing our ministry’s mission of sharing Christ’s message and making an eternal impact.
Let’s cheer them on as they take this next step and keep them in prayer as they begin this exciting new season in Albania!
