We are excited to share that our feeding program in Jocotenango, Guatemala is growing! With more than 300 children already registered, we are in need of a larger, more accommodating space. By remodeling our current facility and adding a second floor, we can increase our capacity to serve more children and families in this growing community, providing them with the hope, support and resources they need to thrive. A Growing Need
Jocotenango is a vibrant city located just outside Antigua, Guatemala. While the city has seen growth in recent years, it is still grappling with significant challenges. Widespread poverty, gang activity and limited access to resources continue to hinder the development of this community.
Our weekly feeding program has an attendance ranging from 200 to 300. These children receive not just a hot meal but also a chance to hear the gospel and experience the love of Christ. Our M25 outreach provides special dinners to the poor in the community, coupled with gospel messages that speak to their deepest needs.
In addition to our feeding program, we hold weekly church services that draw around 150 attendees, offering ongoing discipleship and spiritual support. However, as our program continues to grow, we find ourselves facing a pressing need—one that requires your help.
Expanding Our Impact
To meet the growing demand for our services, we need to expand our facilities in Jocotenango. The space we currently have is serving its purpose, but it is no longer sufficient to support the number of children and families that need our help.
