Ways Your Church Can Get Involved
1. Host a Child Sponsorship Sunday
One of the most powerful ways your congregation can directly impact lives is through child sponsorship. Hosting a Sponsorship Sunday at your church allows your members to take personal ownership of global missions by sponsoring a child and building a lasting relationship.
We’ll provide all the materials you need—child profiles, videos, slides, and promotional content—to make it easy and meaningful. Many churches even choose to do this as part of a missions emphasis week or month.
2. Go on a Mission Trip
We invite church teams to join in our work on the ground in Guatemala or Albania. These trips are more than short-term experiences, they’re eye-opening, faith-building and life-changing. Your church will serve meals, visit families, pray over communities and share the gospel with children in our programs. Members will return home spiritually changed.
3. Become an Ongoing Church Partner
When your church becomes a strategic partner with LWAAC, you can link arms with our team to support an entire feeding center or village. This could include financial support, regular mission teams, prayer coverage and long-term relationship-building with the people you’re helping.
