At Living Water Adopt-a-Child (LWAAC), we are dedicated to reaching children with the love of Christ. One tangible way we do this is through our child sponsorship programs. Child sponsorship is the lifeblood of what we do at LWAAC. When you sponsor a child, you are helping to provide nourishing food for them and their family, necessary medical and dental care, access to the gospel, and spiritual care from pastors and churches in their area.

1. What Is Child Sponsorship?
Child sponsorship programs are a simple, visible way of providing essential care for children in poverty around the world. Fighting poverty costs around $1 a day ($35 a month) and provides a child with consistent, nutritious meals and access to the gospel. Every child deserves to be happy and healthy. 2. Child Sponsorship Helps Break the Bonds of Poverty
Although Guatemala is the most populous Central American nation, over half of their population lives in poverty. By sponsoring a child, you help provide necessary resources for them to break the bonds of impoverishment.
Clean Water and Reliable Meals
Living Water’s behind-the-scenes heroes work on the ground in Guatemala and Albania to provide consistent weekly meals rich in nutrition and love. Your donations go directly to providing meals for children and their families at feeding centers.
Your donation also provides access to clean water, a basic need which 1 in 4 people around the world still lack. Living Water helps ensure that the children in our programs have access to safe drinking water.

Medical and Dental Care
Not only do sponsorship programs meet the immediate needs of hunger and thirst, they also give children essential medical and dental care. Our dedicated team reaches the most remote villages and communities of the world with everyday and emergency medical care. We carry out the work of our Great Physician to heal the sick and broken among us.

Spiritual Growth and Encouragement
When you meet a child’s physical needs, you are also investing in their eternity and bringing them the life-giving hope of Jesus. We share the gospel with every child we feed. We partner with local churches within their community to offer children stability and encouragement. You are changing a child’s life forever and empowering them to break free of the bonds of not only physical poverty but spiritual destitution as well. More than 50 children a month are accepting the gift of the gospel, receiving spiritual freedom and true hope. Local pastors continue to provide spiritual mentorship and care so that they flourish in their faith.

3. The Benefits of Child Sponsorship
