Send a gift by making a special contribution separate from your monthly sponsorship. Either allow our team to choose an appropriate gift or request a special item to be purchased such as extra food or clothing for the family.
Frequently Asked Questions
Your sponsored child will be notified within 4-6 weeks and you will receive your first letter from your sponsored child within 12 weeks.
Being a sponsor is most rewarding when you take time to develop a relationships between you and your sponsored child. Get to know them by exchanging letters, cards, or sending emails.
Talk with them about about why you chose to sponsor them, your hobbies, a day in your life, or even your favorite Bible verse!

We recommend that letters be written in English. However, we can also provide translations for letters written in Spanish.
Please note that it may take 6-8 weeks for your sponsored child to receive letters or gifts and another 6-8 weeks for you to receive a response from your sponsored child to allow time for administrative processes such as translation and travel to remote villages.
No, we recommend sending funds to allow our team to purchase gifts for your sponsored child due to mail system limitations in the remote villages we serve.

Update your Information
Each year, sponsors receive a picture of their child, an update on the child's welfare, and opportunities to correspond with your sponsored child through letters and electronic communications. If your contact information changed, help us make sure you receive these messages using the form below.
Visit Your Sponsored Child
Sponsors receive invitations to join us on one of our trips to Guatemala or Albania. We encourage you to visit your sponsored child at least once to see the impact your generosity is making in his or her life and community.
