By the grace of God, the Lord used Living Water Adopt-A-Child in powerful ways last year! We are incredibly grateful to all of our supporters who helped make the following big 2023 wins for our ministry possible. Although there is much to celebrate, we’ve highlighted just a few below.

Albania

We continue to host Bible study meetings in our three programs as well as distribute clothes donated by churches in Germany. This year, we handed out 14,000 food packages.

We regularly minister to about 95 widows in church and Bible studies, as well as during home visits. It is so important that they be looked after and reminded that they are loved.

We hosted 14 three to four-day youth summer camps in the villages. These camps were a huge success with over 1,000 youth attending, enjoying themselves and hearing the gospel.

Guatemala

In February, we welcomed Drew and Carrie Gibson to the field as full-time missionaries.

We hosted several mission teams and were able to complete the first full medical and dental campaign since 2020. The team of doctors, dentists, nurses and ophthalmologists from the U.S. and Canada treated over 2,000 patients during their 6-day campaign in Quiche, Guatemala.

The Lord provided an opportunity for us to partner with a small school in Jocotenango and we began serving lunch and sharing the gospel with the students.

Over 900 new families registered their children with the ministry, creating more opportunities for sponsorships. Thousands of children in the program received gifts for Christmas this year, thanks to your generosity!

Chulumal

We made significant headway at our property in Quiche. The ground was cleared and the foundation was laid so that we could begin building the main center building. Since then, we’ve completed the frame and roof. Progress is being made to identify and drill a permanent source of clean water for the community.

Finally, we now have electricity on the property! We are excited to see how the Lord continues to build up this property and program for His glory.
